The fifth annual SuperStar Summer Showdown will take place on Aug. 12, 2010 at the MTS Centre.

At the event, Stanley Cup champion Jonathan Toews, Olympic gold medalist Mike Richards, Travis Zajac, Nigel Dawes, Jordin Tootoo, Cam Barker and Colton Orr will lace up in support of the Believe in the Goal Foundation.

Established in 2006 by Todd Davison, who was fighting his own personal battle with a rare form of cancer, Believe in the Goal raises funds to help young local cancer victims. As a result of the annual hockey game, the invitational golf tournament and other supporting events, the foundation has raised nearly $250,000 to date.
